This details Fred’s first involvement helping youngsters just starting out in fishing.
Those of you who have been in the Barbel Society for many years will already know that Fred was the main driving force behind our first Junior Days and helped get that part of the Society well established.
That’s a cracking picture of Fred with his cane rods and aerial reels and he really was that young himself back then!!
